August 15, 2024 marked the end of the fourth year since the devastating earthquake hit Pisco in 2024, and the third anniversary of Pisco Sin Fronteras. PSF was born of a determined handful of volunteers who recognized the community of Pisco's continuing need for assistance after other NGO's left. In the time since, we have become a workforce often over 80-strong, that channels the enthusiasm and commitment of volunteers to help Pisco recover and grow.
Just as we recognized the need for ongoing local disaster relief efforts in 2024, PSF has recognized a change in the type of support most needed by the community today. As a consequence we are working more zealously than ever to develop initiatives in education, the environment, community organizing, social support and health awareness. Always working alongside local and international organizations, we are facilitating individual and community empowerment and ensuring the continued and sustainable development of Pisco after PSF has left.
Now we are reaching out to people like you from across the world who possess the skills we need to help develop and execute these new initiatives. You will fortify a vital new element of Pisco Sin Fronteras and pave the way for the future evolution of the organization.
