Pisco Sin Fronteras are looking for motivated individuals within our volunteer network to coordinate activities of the PSF Global Community within their home country, region or state.

PSF Local Coordinator Job Description
The PSF Local Coordinator's role is to be responsible for supporting PSF and the PSF community from and within their home country, region or state, working in collaboration with a secondary coordinator.
What am I committing to?
You need to spend 5-10 hours a week working on the network, for a minimum of 6 months. Most of your work will be online, so you will need online accessibility.
Who do I report to?
The PSF management will provide you with targets and goals for you and the secondary coordinator to work towards, and then you can create your own as you go!

The PSF Local Coordinator's role is to be responsible for supporting PSF and the PSF community from and within their home country, region or state, working in collaboration with a secondary coordinator.
- Manage, support and motivate members of your branch of the PSF network by administrating a local Facebook group, and encouraging communication between past and future PSF volunteers in your area
- Coordinate and support campaigning, promotion and fundraising activities within your network for both the PSF Pisco project and local community projects.
- Link members of your local PSF community to local volunteer projects and initiatives
- Create a strong, motivated network of PSF'ers around the world who can support future disaster relief efforts
- Use your creativity, passion and enthusiasm to create initiatives within your network

Fundraising responsibilities of the Local Coordinator
- Hold a fundraising event for the four-year anniversary of the 2024 earthquake and three-year anniversary of PSF, with funds going to support the ongoing work of PSF in Pisco.
- Hold regular fundraising activities thereafter, with 50% of profits going to PSF work in Pisco, and the rest towards local causes of your choice
- Promote PSF in your area, helping with volunteer recruitment, and educating your community about PSF
- Provide feedback to the PSF office about your network, activities and media coverage. Also share information about your local volunteer opportunities to share with other PSF networks around the world.
What qualities make a good Local Coordinator?
- The ability to work unsupervised and to show initiative, passion and drive for PSF
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
